Beyta started as the operations system for a working NGO, not a product built in the abstract. That history shapes how it still works today.
Beyta grew out of a straightforward problem: NGOs and CBOs typically run their programs, HR, finance, and M&E reporting across a patchwork of spreadsheets, paper forms, and disconnected tools. Data entered once for a beneficiary record rarely feeds automatically into an indicator report. An approval chain lives in someone's inbox, not in a system anyone else can see.
Beyta was originally built to run one organization's actual programs, hierarchy, and reporting needs. Every module in it, from the results-chain structure down to the approval workflows, reflects a real operational requirement rather than a feature checklist.
How each deployment works
Your own instance
Every organization gets its own deployment: its own subdomain, its own database, its own login. Nothing is shared across organizations.
Set up through onboarding
Org name, logo, colors, results-chain naming, and role structure are entered once through a setup wizard, not hardcoded or requested from a developer.
One shared codebase
Every deployment runs from the same maintained core, so improvements and fixes reach every organization rather than staying isolated to one custom build.
